The Kinder garden group where i volunteer couple of hours a day had a field trip today to the nursing home. They performed several songs accompanied by a guitar. There were about ten elderly women watching (and some dozing off) the show. I kept thinking how these 70+ people, who had lived a whole life and are now on the end of it, are in the same room with 5yr olds, who can barely do anything alone. The two ends of life spectrum have a lot in common actually, but I'm not going to get into it. An older woman was smiling and waving to kids, who were walking in circles around some of the audience, and waved back.
Now that I'm home, i would be able to get into some gardening and take care of some flowers and cacti. Check out what i brought with me from camping:

Best thing about cactus: if you forget to water it (however many times) it will still be okay :)
