My routine has become solid and I have lost the energy to modify it, or, perhaps, I don't have enough willpower to do what I know is important. I haven't meditated in over a week. I semi stretch when I have an opportunity. After an hour of drive from work and only few hours to spare before I go to bed, I want to play video games, relax, and watch some "Lie to Me". Chores? Barely, to keep the place look acceptable to my eye (which is still a decent enough standard).
I live from weekend to weekend. My non-working days last long and are filled with all kinds of activities and events. I don't lack in that regard. I just wish I could carve out and extra 15-20min in the morning for myself. That would mean going to bed even earlier than 10pm. I don't know about that.
Our Good friend Kevin and his lady Michelle visited our humble mansion on Friday. We played Cranium, which was a ton of fun. We enjoyed some sangria and home made califlower crust pizza with various topings! Delicacy in my mouth.
Sometimes I post things on my blog before even watching it. This is one of those videos. I'm about to watch it.
"Is it okay if I totally trash your office?" It's a question Elyn Saks once asked her doctor, and it wasn't a joke. A legal scholar, in 2007 Saks came forward with her own story of schizophrenia, controlled by drugs and therapy but ever-present. In this powerful talk, she asks us to see people with mental illness clearly, honestly and compassionately.

Abacus
alive at five
who cares about the bands - its about gathering a bunch of attractive people together in one place and giving them booze (and point at high schoolers who can't drink, and just sit on the curb). The amount of good looking people reminded me of BC where there is also an unusual percentage of young people who care about their looks.
Wizzard of Oz play was a success in my eyes, though i wish kids were louder on stage so that the audience can hear them better. Scenery and props were praised which made me feel good about all the crazy work I had done with dorothy's house, trees, munchkin set pieces and numerous little props.
Favorite was Wizard's Face - bright and green and scary.
Saturday:
Maya's party in NY. I think a bunch of people are coming so we most likely will come.
Sunday events may include:
blueberry picking
baking
Dark Knight
but all depends on whether we will stay in NY or come back, and how tired we shall feel.

Adult-like parties? Adult-like life.
We are young adults and throw parties as such - with slight flavor of responsibility. On Saturday, several people came over to celebrate Michelle's birthday. It was hot and crowded but people didn't leave which makes me think they had good times. Healthy snacks and beer was consumed. I was running around a little to make sure everyone was having good times. Being a host of a party puts a different twist on having fun - if others are enjoying their time it makes me enjoy it too.
Since it's our place - it is our rules, our guests, our responsibilities.
Working at a camp my sister goes to is pleasant - I see her every day and teach her some art stuff too. It may not be much but it's certainly greater than nothing. And she seems to be having fun, meeting people, drawing dogs and cats and melting as the Wicked Witch. We're putting up Wizard of Oz the musical next Friday and I'm in charge of props and scenery for it. Lot's of work and running around. But it will all pay off once things are on stage.
I'm exhausted coming home. I don't feel like doing anything besides relaxing and watching something silly online. By 10.30pm I'm in bed, my eyes barely open. Waking up at 6am and leaving 45min after that.
Cooked some chick peas in bread crumbs with garlic and lemon juice. Simple, quick, healthy and delicious. Chick peas come in a pod of two peas. Fun!
We didn't end up jumping off the plane with a parachute, because by the time we made a 1.5hour drive, the winds got strong and nobody went in the air to jump. But at least we got a $20 discount for next tandem jump. Looking forward to go at it again in few weekends.
I can never fully express my life unto these pages, but I do my best to record a good amount of things here. I want to re-live these memories again, when I'm older and have new and exciting ideas about life.
An interesting animated short about fast food with blood and some gross animated scenes.

4th of July - Birthday Party
It's 4th of July. A Day off for many people. The smell of fireworks is outside. The neighborhood celebrates a national holiday. A bunch of friends and us gathered in The park for some potluck and ultimate frisbee. All kinds of fun. Tequila infused watermelon was a major hit. But my lady didn't stop there; her second hit was the cake she made, and decorated with berries. It also had red white and blue layers inside, with sliced strawberries. That's right. Michelle knows what's up!
A plentiful work out during frisbee game followed. The day was a success. Few body pars let themselves known the next day.
In the evening, we enjoyed Thor in the comforts of our living room. I guess I say enjoy a lot in this post. My life is filled with positive emotions and events, or so I perceive them to be :)
5th: Enjoyed some wine before heading out to Angus Steakhouse. I got blackened sea bass, which was fantastic. The lady ordered a T-bone. We celebrated her day of birth with tequila shots and a movie: Moonrise Kingdom - great unpredictable quirky, Wes Anderson has done it right. I need to see The Royal Tenenbaums at some point.
6th: Went to see The Amazing Spiderman - which wasn't as good as it should have been. not much action, soundtrack was allright. But few good scenes can't save a movie from being overall poor. I was disappointed.
Saturday: the party day
Went shopping for foods and drinks and prepping the apartment for a gathering.
Bunch of people came, and we finally played 7/11/doubles. Quiches and carrots and baked brie for snacks, friendly conversations, people from few different places. Everyone seemed to be having good time. All in all, it was a huge success because the birthday girl had a blast.
Sunday: hopefully skydiving day.
I mistook Dennis Leary for William Dafoe, and kept thinking about Green Goblin in other Spider Man movies. But while reading Leary's bio and such on IMDB I saw one trivia syaing:
"He claims that people often mistake him for Willem Dafoe, and vice versa"
As I continue reading, i find out he wrote a book: "Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid". So I just went online to my library's branch and requested for pick up. It will come either today or tomorrow.
