Yepp, I got the job at the camp I worked during 2008 & 2009 summers. This should be interesting, because whichever kids remember me are grown up, and the older kids are trying out to be counselors by now.
I'm starting Monday. Since I'll still be working with children, this job is better than "a job" and much better than "no job", which is what i was looking at just couple of days ago.
I have had this odd feeling, as i was driving back from Joey's, about the job, but i just couldn't get my finger around it. I couldn't understand what i felt, but i think i am realizing that it's not a "summer job" anymore because i won't be going to school in the fall. I will just have to find another job or program or something else to do. What an odd taste.
My sister turned 12 this past weekend. She wanted a Wii and got one. I'm happy for her. I didn't have a gift, but she'll choose a person to donate $25 through this cool organization Kiva.org I think it's a cool idea instead of receiving a gift, which she probably won't use or like as much.
I have been running 1.5mi steady before breakfast for past couple of days, and I'm proud of myself for sticking with it. We'll see what's going to happen once i have to be at work at 8.30am. One day at a time :)
