On Wednesday, I encountered a flar tire while driving through the park. I had to stop and change it, replaced it with doughnut. Next morning I got a new tire before work and thought that was it. My battery also died while i was fixing a flat. Turns out I have a crappy no good battery. (But i don't find out about it until Sunday).
My mother's friend who's a mechanic took a look at Vincent. Yes, this is now the name of my Volvo :) Anyway, he was kind enough to check all that is wrong and fixed a bunch: driver's window now works, nothings hanging out at the front right light, oil tank leak fixed.
The audiobook "The Spark" (something about engaging creativity) is about curqe du soleiu "Ka" performance, which I attended while in Vegas in Oct. 2010. It is very interesting to listen about all the behind the scenes and people's lives. Great connection.
I also have been using my dichtophone for couple of days and I really like it. It recorded some interesting stuff already. I can't wait to continue using it.
Also, spent an exciting afternoon with a friend, talking about all kinds of ideas and concepts. Something about our minds being activated to full potential, and seeing things from very different perspectives.
Sunday, Nov. 20th reflection:
I guess i set a reminder on my phone to reflect on the week on Sunday. I'm glad i did that. The week has been interesting. On Wednesday, i worked alone because my partner took a break to catch up on some studying and whatnot. I made it fine, and it felt good. That evening i drove to friends house, stopped on the side to text, and apparently got a flat tire. Had to take care of that. It was a bit drizzling but relatively pleasant evening. Once the doughnut was on, i tried to turn the car on. The battery died. I had to call my friend to rescue me, since mi madre didn't have cables in her car. Next day, the battery died again, while a friendly mechanic was fixing all kinds of business with my window, oil tank, and body.
It's incredibly important to reflect on Sunday, because each week presents new and different ideas and circumstances. I need to remember that.
