Anniversary and CT Wine Trail.

My dear lady and I celebrated our 3rd Anniversary this Friday, the 11th. We dressed up to go for a fancy dinner (fanciest I have ever paid for :)) at Valbella in Greenwich. We sat downstairs in the wine cellar room - really quiet, and romantic. The food was outstanding and the service was fantastic also. She had Veal filet mignon with truffle sauce and figs and I enjoyed Chilean sea bass with mustard sauce. We had some lobster & brie appetizer, and even Michelle had couple of bites of lobster (which is typically a no-no in her book.)

We may have polished half a bottle of red in a Walgreens parking lot right before dinner.
We chatted about our love, our relationships and other topics of desire.

Saturday was supposed to be our bungee jumping adventure, but i just couldn't find any place close enough that had working digits. It was like the internet was against me. Or bungee jumping. In any case, we decided to go unto a CT Wine Trail and planned to go into 5 vineyards. Though we made it to only three, it was super fun. We tasted 6-7 wines in each place, bought some great bottles and even some local honey - I got blueberry blossom, she got pumpkin-something. Weirdly, two of the vineyards were on Walnut Tree Hill rd.

Jones Winery in Shelton was our favorite.
