Superbowl was a great 'excuse' to cook up something new - wings. I enjoy occasional wings here and there but have not made it myself, until now. I made two batches - mild spicy bbq rub and sweet n sour. Both ended up being fantastic; bbq one was eated super quick and i waited until half time to bring in the other flavor. I baked both, and sprinkled the latter one with chives and sesame seeds. Another cooking success. I think i figured out the secret - the more ingredients in the sauce, the tastier it will be. Oh, but, of course, i kid.
On Wednesday, Michelle and I went to New Haven to see Lindsay Sterling at Toads Place. It was a very pleasant concert, she rocked out few costume changes, sang a little and played a badass electric violin. We had some very good thai food at Yale before going to the concert. There were a LOT of good places to eat, and most are very cheap too. I forgot what it's like to be around younger college going crowd with many things catered to their low income and taste of goodness for food :)
